Yorglass is growing thanks to its export efforts
TIM have announced the results of “First 1,000 Export Companies” survey for 2018. Glass sector Export Champions Awards for 2018 met with their recipients in the 2018 Export Champions Awards Ceremony carried out with the collaboration of the 2018 Ordinary Financial General Assembly of the Cement, Glass, Ceramic and Soil Products Exporters Association.
During the ceremony with approximately 40 companies receiving awards in 8 categories, Yorglass,operating in the flat glass trade and industrial glass processing sector for 45 years in Turkey, was awarded the second prize in the export leaders ranking.

Indicating that they have exported to over 60 countries in 5 continents and further proved their worth in the sector with their success in 2018, Yorglass CEO Semavi Yorgancılar stated: “Our customer-oriented production, our competence in creating sustainable and innovative solutions are what brings us this success. As Yorglass, we increased our export rate by 20% in comparison to the previous year.”
Stating that 50% of their yearly turnover is comprised of exports, Semavi Yorgancılar adds, “It is extremely valuable for our efforts and hard work to be commended with such awards. We aim to further expand our export network and contribute even more to our national economy in the year 2019.”
