University students became “Glassmakers” Yorglass came together with engineering faculty students
Operating in Turkey’s glass trade and glass processing sector for 45 years, Yorglass hosted Abant Izzet Baysal University Engineering Faculty students at Bolu White Goods Facility on 19 May, Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day. Getting the chance to get to become acquainted with Yorglass within the scope of the event, students closely observed the technique of glass processing by visiting the factory. Also taking advantage of the opportunity to attend hands-on training with Yorglass Human Resources Teams in “Resume Preparation and Interview Techniques” future engineers came together with Yorglass Leaders and evaluated their career planning.

We also brought our students together with our Yorglass executives to help shape their careers. We tried to raise awareness about the competence, equipment and personality traits they would need in their career planning related to the occupations they were thinking of, and to help them to have an idea about different working environments. As Yorglass, we will continue to support young people who are the guarantee of our future. ”
Outstanding projects will be supported
Yorglass will also be sponsoring exemplary interdisciplinary projects within the departments of the Engineering Faculty of Bolu Abant Baysal University. Yorglass will be keeping close track of TUBITAK sponsored student projects and continue to extend its support to students.
